Beginning Oil Painting:Learn about the Ocean!(NEW) Shane' Mann

Because the ocean is constantly moving, it can be one of the most challenging subjects to paint. In this class I’ve developed methods that help you paint the elements of the ocean. Following my step by step instruction, you will soon be painting the beautiful sea yourself. You will learn: Color mixing, aerial perspective, linear perspective, focal point, composition and edges. And of course detail in the foreground and a Breathtaking Breaker.
I will be bringing in photos and reference material. If you bring it in yourself, you will need a picture of the sea with a center of interest being an ocean breaker, sky, a few, if any cliffs, and shoreline. Keep the picture as simple as possible, as this is a very beginning seascape class.Bring a bag lunch. Offered: August 16th and 17th, 9 am to 3:30 pm,Level: Beginners. Fee: $150/$130 Members
